3D TV without glasses is real in CES 2011

3D without glasses is still far from reaching maturity, but progress is, however, indicate that in some manufacturers continue to introduce more models and more advanced. A point on the main Ads CES 2011.

The future of 3D TV

Despite progress since its launch and lower prices generated on the various proposed models, 3D television is still trading in its early days. TVs available are still too expensive and require 3D glasses, accessories required a price and design are usually the subject of vehement criticism. So that 3D can invade the home and beyond its current status as luxury gadget, this technology will inevitably go through a price cut and the abandonment of glasses. Sony and Toshiba have therefore decided to invest in the field by presenting models of 3D TV without glasses more and more efficient.

By launching in Japan at the end of 2010 its first 3D TV without glasses 12 and 20 inches (see photo), manufacturer Toshiba has demonstrated that it remained one of the most dynamic sector. The brand has confirmed its presence by taking advantage of the CES 2011 to unveil other models just as promising. The Japanese brand has indeed presented with 3D TVs CEVO processor, including a 40-inch model. These 3D models, offering a high resolution 4K2K, also boarded a special technology by which the viewer will need to position themselves in front of the screen to take advantage of 3D reliefs. These would normally come out 3D TVs in the European market later in the year 2011 at prices that have not yet been disclosed yet.


Sony televisions convincing 3D

The future of 3D TV without glasses also happen by Sony? The Japanese firm has indeed taken a substantial lead in this area by presenting prototypes increasingly promising. The manufacturer had already made about him in 2009 with its cylindrical screen measuring 13 cm in diameter and 27 cm high, which offered a view in 3D relief of a striking quality. Present at CES 2011, Sony has managed to show its know-how in this time unveiling a series of 3D TV without glasses composed of a 46-inch full HD model and a 56-inch model offering compelling, with the Like 3D TV Toshiba 4K2K resolution, or 4000 x 2000 pixels. The prices of these TVs has not yet been announced although it can be expected very high rates.
