Kia European in First the second generation Sorento at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
Unveiled at the Salon Seoul last April, the Korean SUV benefit of the German event for entry into the Old Continent.
In Europe, the Sorento will be available with 2.4 petrol motor or 2.2 diesel 197 hp (for a couple of 421 Nm). It can be mated to a manual gearbox or automatic transmission with 6 speed.
The equipment, the new 7-seater SUV will have a series of panoramic roof, Xenon headlights, a regulator speed, dual zone air conditioning, ESP, and a reversing camera with screen LCD interior rearview mirror.
Long, 4,68 m, "cruiser" is announced as more aerodynamic and lighter (- 215 kg)than its predecessor, allowing it improve its consumption figures,CO2 emissions and performance.
