Tokyo Auto Salon 2009: Mitsubishi i-MiEV Cargo

Alongside the crossover PX-MiEV , Mitsubishi showcased in Tokyo a little tool: the i-MiEV Cargo.

Based on the mini-city i-MiEV 100% Electric launched this year in Japan, this new vehicle confirms the commitment of manufacturing the three diamonds to develop a zero emission range.

If the front keeps the pretty mug from the original model, the bow is very flat. Admittedly, this is a utility that must offer a space for loading optimized but the two generations of Renault Kangoo has proved that this type of commercial vehicle was not sentenced to resemble a shoe box .

Nevertheless, this small utility that combines an electric motor of 64 hp and 180 Nm with a lithium-ion battery of 330 V could be very relevant as a delivery vehicle for our inner cities.

Both by compactness and environmental friendliness. The Mitsubishi i-MiEV will soon be sold to us under the name Peugeot ion. It is therefore likely that one day you crossed the freighter version, why not near a flower market.
