At the Tokyo Motor Show, Toyota has created a sensation with the FT-86 Concept foreshadowing his comeback on the compact segment cut.
In recent years, the FT symbol is often placed on the concepts of the world's leading manufacturer. Thus the FT-HS gave an initial outline of what might look like a worthy successor to the Celica.
This new concept is more along the lines of series, to be marketed in 2011, the figure does not take 86 per chance. This is a reference to the coupe AE86 Corolla which was in Japan 80 years that the Peugeot 205 GTI was among us: a car that is both dynamic and popular among young people.
Its sharp lines together with a stocky profile makes a nice cut, what to mix of elegance, sportiness and originality. A successful design that was conceived not in Japan but in the studio's European Design Development Toyota in Sophia Antipolis.

Developed in collaboration with Subaru who have the right to a version with a different style, this prototype coupe 2 2 is propulsion. Under the hood point hybrid or electric but a four-cylinder 2.0 petrol Boxer, Subaru of origin precisely, whose power should be around 200 hp.
