Foxconn NetBox-N270: A very compact nettop Atom

The manufacturer Foxconn has just lifted the veil on NetBox-N270, an ultra-compact nettop powered by an Intel Atom.

Dimensions 25 x 16.7 x 2.5 centimeters, nettop 700 grams take on board an Intel Atom N270 clocked at 1.6 GHz with 1 GB of RAM type DDR2.

Her video is part of an integrated Intel GMA 950 with shared memory, thus drawing in RAM. Its audio portion is compatible HD 5.1 and the network part compatible Fast Ethernet (up to 100 Mbit / s).

For data storage, it has a SATA HDD 2.5 "250 GB and a memory card reader 3-in-1 supports the formats MMC, MS and SD.

Side connectors Finally, there are a VGA port for monitor, RJ-45 port for LAN, audio output for headphones, an audio input microphone, three USB 2.0 devices (keyboard, mouse, webcam, printer, scanner, etc..).

Price 299 USD to deliver what nettop delivered without OS, the operating systems Windows XP and Windows 7 being offered as an option.
