Canon CanoScan miniscanners renews its economic
Canon unveils CanoScan LiDE110 and 210, two scanners CIS at prices as their compact size.

No, flatbed scanners are not yet dead and buried. Despite the growing number of so-called multifunction devices, inexpensive and equipped with scanners, single-function devices that do not know what to scan are still showing vitality. To prove these two new LiDE110 and LiDE210 that Canon has just announced.

These two small flatbed color scanner, A4, CIS technology, are self-powered USB port that connects to the computer for data transfer.
Although their format is ultracompact, these two little monsters are able to scan documents of any type (letters, drawings, diagrams or photos, etc..) Both B & W and color. And, with great precision. Indeed, the LiDE110 has a real definition of 2400 x 4800 dpi, while the LiDE210 has a sharper definition (4800 x 4800 dpi).
Both use a light source RGB 3-color LED and color acuity of 48-bit input and output color mode, and 16-bit gray mode.
Regarding the speed, the younger LiDE110 is advertised as capable of scanning an A4 color 300 dpi in 16 seconds. The LiDE210 is, meanwhile, swifter and performs the same task in just 10 seconds.

No need to use it for graduation
That said, both should be simple and intuitive to use, thanks to their quick command keys "EZ" located in facades. Keys that allow them to scan, copy, create PDF documents, or scan and send by e-mail, or even to perform document recognition (OCR) using a software supplied with scanners (ScanGear, Solution Menu EX MP Navigator EX). Features Auto Scan (Auto Scan) or removal of defects (scratches and dust) are present in order to simplify the task and to optimize the quality of work.

Available beginning in September 2010, you will pay only 88 USD to acquire the CanoScan LiDE110 and twenty more, or 89 euros for the CanoScan LiDE210.
