Mitsubishi HC9000D

Mitsubishi HC9000D: a high-end 3D projector
Mitsubishi poised to launch its first home theater projector 3D: HC9000D. A wild beast...

The offer begins to grow a bit on the side of home theater projectors 3D. After three JVC models (DLA-X3, X7 and X9) and the Sony VPL-VW90, it's time for Mitsubishi to launch HC9000D. A full HD 1080p projector operates three SXRD panels (like the Sony) and capable of displaying a brightness of 1000 ANSI lumens and a contrast ratio of flirting with the 120 000: 1. Impressive, certainly, but as it stands, this does not mean much.

A silencer device

We also know that video processing will be provided by Reon VX processor, the unit will house a 240Hz mode for 3D, and a double motorized lens shift. Mitsubishi has also provided many tools for calibration, as well as zoom and powered focus. The machine will evolve further in discreetly, since the ventilation circuit of the lamp will exceed 22dB in normal operation and 19 dB in Eco mode. An Eco mode that should allow this famous lamp to reach 4000 hours.

Regarding the connectivity, the device will offer two HDMI 1.4, VGA input, YUV input, one S-Video, Composite input and RS232C port.

For 3D, however, it will be necessary to invest in a kit comprising an additional transmitter and two pairs of active glasses at a price of $ 653. Commercialization is expected in January, but some retailers already record pre-orders. The prize:$ 6530.
It is $ 1310 more than the JVC DLA-X3 and $ 1 963 less than the SonyVW90, which offers, in addition, converting 2D> 3D.
