Maestro LED HD screen slim, beautiful from the front and back Available in 21.5 and 24 inches, this series of screens signed Packard Bell claims to combine design and technical excellence.
The PC monitor would have the right of citizenship in our plush lounges? That, at least the view of the manufacturer Packard Bell, which offers for sale two 16:9 screens of only 16.5 mm thick. On paper at least, the Maestro series combines the qualities. They are first Full HD with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 points. Then, the dynamic contrast is given to mount up to a ratio of 12 000:1. On this last point, moderate our enthusiasm because we know very well that this type of indication does not mean much since the trick is to turn off the LEDs to display a solid black. The brightness is announced for its 250 candelas per square meter which would be a very good value if it were true.
More interesting is the announced response time to 2 milliseconds for a round of GTG. Logically, it should allow to play 3D games without observing any image retention.
In stereo, but not USB
Further refinement, the monitor is equipped with two speakers of 2 x 1.5 watt. Input side, the Maestro is the traditional port with VGA, DVI, HDMI and audio jack. All in all, a USB hub would have been a real plus. Just as a pivot function, at least on the 21.5-inch model.
