Motion Computing will launch its CL 900, a 10.1-inch Tablet PC Ultra resistant addressed primarily to professionals.
Weighing 953 grams, Motion CL 900 is a tablet PC designed for use in difficult conditions, both outside and inside. Featuring among others the degree of protection IP52, this tablet PC can withstand shock, humidity, dust, extreme temperatures and chemicals. It has a touch screen HD (1366 x 768 pixels) by 10.1 inches with a Corning Gorilla resistant material on which you can navigate between applications with a finger or stylus.
A tablet PC with Atom
The Motion Tablet CL 900 works with an Atom processor clocked at 1.5 Ghz RAM backed by a 1 GB or 2 GB DDR2. It also loads a SSD of 30 GB expandable to 62 GB optional. This tablet PC looks well equipped with its built-in speaker, a 3 megapixel camera at the rear of the unit and its associated with a webcam built-in microphone, all enclosed in a box measuring 27.7 x 17, 9 x 1.5 cm. This tablet PC is otherwise powered by a rechargeable Lithium Ion battery providing 8 hours of battery life.

The Tablet PC CL 900 is equipped with a USB 2.0 port, an SD card slot, a Bluetooth module for audio and video inputs and a video output. So that mobile professionals can connect to the network at any time, this tablet embeds a wireless WiFi, not to mention the optional 3G.

Running Windows 7 to choose from professional or family, the Motion Tablet CL 900 should be available sometime in the second quarter of 2011 from $ 900.
