CES 2011: MSI launches WinPad 100W, a shelf Windows 7
The tablet MSI 100W WinPad adopts an Intel processor and Windows 7. An Android version is also planned.

Meanwhile Apple iPad 2, competitors prepare for battle at the CES 2011 which will be held in Las Vegas. MSI arrives on the market with touch pads WinPad 100W, a real netbook-contained, with Intel platform and operating system Windows 7 and a multi-touch screen (2 points) of a definition 1 024 x 600 pixels, for a diagonal of 10.1 inches.

A version is planned WinPad 100A Android

The WinPad 100W is equipped with an Atom Z530 processor at 1.6 GHz and an Intel GMA 500 chipset. A very low-energy classical configuration, with 2GB of RAM and a 32GB SSD for storage. Also included is a USB 2.0 host to plug external devices. The machine includes a webcam front and another at the back on a plane slightly inclined to film maintaining a more natural grip. Not to mention Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth, a memory card reader and HDMI output standard.

Note that MSI will launch a subsequent WinPad 100A, with an ARM processor and equipped with an operating system Android. Much more focused on mobility, it should integrate GPS, digital compass and even an optional 3G.
The WinPad 100W was announced at $ 499 U.S. in June 2010, it finally does come out that early this year 2011.
