Sony has finally announced the launch of first laptop screen 3D, Sony Vaio F series. The Japanese manufacturer to actually exhibited a prototype at the IFA 2010, there are nearly six months. Sony joins the competition late.
F-series Sony Vaio is for now embodied by a single model, which revolves around a screen diagonal of 16 inches (40.6 cm) displaying a Full HD (1920 x 1080). This screen displays as expected a refresh rate of 240 Hz, the dual screens of most competitors. It can render the terrain using a pair of active glasses shutters, the same as for televisions of the manufacturer.
To address the severe lack of 3D content, this computer also provides a conversion function of the artificial 2D in 3D, which can trigger a physical button.
HD 720p a webcam, USB 3.0, Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi-Fi N finally complete this high-end configuration.
