Chinese manufacturer ZTE has unveiled its touch pad at the show's consumer electronics CES in Las Vegas. Called Light 2 or V9 +, it is animated by Android 2.2 (Froyo). It has a capacitive touch screen and multipoint 7 inch (17.8 cm) with a resolution of 1024 x 600 dots.
The device features a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor running at 1 GHz and a memory of 4 GB, expandable with micro SD card. The Light 2 will broadcast a very good sound through a headphone output, combined with Dolby Mobile 3.0.
Availability in spring
Connectivity side, there is Wi-Fi b / g, Bluetooth 2.1 and, more surprisingly, a slot for a 3G SIM card. It also incorporates a GPS chip and a camera with a 5-megapixel sensor. The ZTE Light 2 should be released in the UK in the spring. As for the price, knowing the pricing policy of ZTE, it should be very aggressive!
