Motorola has not really shined during the MWC 2011. The U.S. company has nevertheless introduced a new smartphone, the Motorola Pro, which as its name suggests is more aimed at a professional audience, but not exclusively. Release scheduled again for this quarter.
While some manufacturers have not made the trip to the salon world of telephony, the MWC 2011 held in Barcelona this week for nothing, Motorola rather pales in having only two devices, the tablet Motorola Xoom and a smartphone, the Motorola Pro, which will not revolutionize the world of mobile telephony, even if it is correct invoice. As its name suggests, this smartphone Motorola has been designed primarily to meet the expectations of a professional audience, but certainly it will appeal a wider audience.
3-inch touch screen and full keyboard
The design of the Motorola Pro remind some of the BlackBerry smartphones in particular because of the presence of a full keyboard welcome to allow text entry that many feel more comfortable than a keyboard. Above the keyboard, the Motorola Pro features a beautiful multipoint capacitive touch screen 3.1 inches with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. In OS, Android 2.2 found Froyo processor and an ARM Cortex A8-1 GHz with 512 MB of combined RAM.
The key to communicate
The business smartphone Motorola Pro is compatible with 3G, WiFi 802.11n and Bluetooth 2.1 to provide the greatest possible flexibility in communications. There is also a A-GPS module. The autonomy of this Motorola mobile is announced at about 8 hours in 2 G and a little over 6 hours on 3G while in standby mode it will not less than 330 hours. Its connection is reduced to a minimum since it will include a micro-USB port and a 2.0 audio jack.
A release planned for March for an unknown price
Multimedia equipment side, there is a digital camera 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash which can save you shots in the internal memory of 8 GB, expandable by microSD or microSDHC cards up to 32GB media player and a manager formats Audio and video of the most common. Motorola Pro smartphone should be available sometime in March. For now, Motorola has not yet revealed pricing for its new mobile advisable.
