3D LED televisions from Sony overequipped, In the month of May, Sony will launch a line of 3D TV barded with new features: HX720 series.
Even if the balances in full swing and we offer a lot of interesting opportunities (including Sony), would it not be wiser to wait until May to invest in a 3D TV incorporating the latest innovations from the manufacturer? It's worth thinking about. Available in two screen sizes (40 and 46 inches), the HX720 Series will, in effect, a backlit LED Local Dimming. A technique that offers much better results in terms of colorimetry, density contrasts of black and the LED Edge. Good news then.
3D and 400 Hz in the program
Both TVs will obviously be compatible with embedded 3D mode conversion from 2D to 3D. Hopefully the result will be more convincing than what we have been served so far. We'll see. A 3D active again and still requiring the wearing of glasses with shutters Sony will apparently drop the price. We should be able to get out 70 or $ 80. Anyway!
It is always better than the hundred dollar required today for a pair of 3D glasses with rechargeable battery. Video processing side, Sony will offer a new way of scanning 400Hz (Motionflow XR400) and hopes boost the quality of videos hand of cards on the Internet through the X-PRO Reality.
Skype and Opera in TV
Side-line services and multimedia, Sony has the package. First, by integrating an optimized version of Opera browser, allowing users to surf freely on the Internet with the remote. This is not what is easiest, but it will be possible.
Second, by allowing voice and video calls Skype, with the addition of a microphone and a webcam. Two optional accessories, of course. Thirdly, by providing access to social networks and sharing sites on a screen 40 or 46 inches. Fourth, by affixing the two models DLNA certification, facilitating the sharing of videos, photos and music.
Sensing and recording on USB
Finally, Sony has added a few cosmetic features like TrackID, which will identify the click of a remote broadcast a song on TV or videoSearch, for the cast films and series during playback. Add the ability to record TV programs on a USB external hard drive and a presence sensor, to cut the picture if the user leaves the room and put the TV on standby if he does not return and you have a TV really trendy.
Only small problem: the fact that Sony has not integrated Wi-Fi connectivity will need to add a USB adapter (BR100-UWA) to connect wirelessly to the network. What a shame! Finally, note that both TV can be controlled with the iPhone, through the application Media Remote, and will benefit from a new generation of 3D sound, thanks to technology S-Force D Front Surround.
Prices are not yet known, but they are thought relatively high given the possibilities offered by television. It is unclear whether they will be supplied with or without glasses ... but we know that Sony will launch during May for other ranges of televisions, more affordable models, but less high-tech. We'll talk more in the coming days.
