Despite big releases for the month of October, the U.S. video game market declined overall by 25% compared to the same month last year, with only 755.55 million dollars (594 million euros) turnover as calculated by the NDP.

The software section, down 25% at period equal weights of 451.8 million dollars (355 million euros), while the accessories climbs from 5% to 135.6 million dollars (106.6 million euros) thanks to Skylanders Giants. The game itself has sold 269,000 copies (160% increase compared to the first month of Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure) but found only in last place in the top monthly overwhelmed by Borderlands 2, Medal of Honor Warfighter (300,000 sales) FIFA 13, Madden NFL 13 and Dishonored (460,200 sales).
On the podium, there are Resident Evil 6 with 806,000 copies, Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 which accumulate only 867,000 copies (2.5 million against the duo for the first episode), while the NBA 2K13 is ahead everyone with 1.27 million copies (48% increase compared to the first month of NBA 2K12). Outside the top 10, note to finish the 135,000 sales New Super Mario Bros 2 and 114,000 sales XCOM: Enemy Unknown, even if the failure to take into account sales download wrong as usual to give greatly PC games.
