Crysis 3 |
Electronic Arts offers a new video of Crysis 3, featuring gameplay clips that put forward the changes made by the studio Crytek count on its engine CryEngine 3. The result is quite impressive. Having based its reputation on its graphics performance, Crysis series, however, lost some of its appeal in terms of freedom of action in the second part. Team development studio Crytek has come back to more open environments and more focused on nature with Crysis 3, while providing enhancements to its graphics engine developed internally, CryEngine. EA released a new trailer to watch the third installment of the FPS overboosted. The gameplay clips show the graphical improvements made since the previous section, appreciating the details and the particle effects. The animations are also more fluid as a whole, and work on the faces (like late trailer) wants much more pronounced than in the past.
If the studio has put the package at the graphics, it is clear that it will potentially a lightning war for PC to take advantage of the small details. The video also accuses the framerate drops at times, especially at the end with lots of explosions. When you think that the CEO of the studio, Cevat Yerli, said that Crysis 3 would use 99% of the performance of the PS3 and Xbox 360, remains to be seen whether all is sufficiently optimized to avoid delays in-game. Crysis 3 will be released February 21, 2013 in Europe on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
