Plextor M5 Pro Series New Firmware, Even Better Performance


The device Plextor M5 Pro Series has a new firmware for more performance. Formalized and introduced last August by Plextor, device Plextor M5 Pro Series has proven to be one of the best SSD moment during a recent test. But it has not yet revealed its full potential apparently, since the manufacturer has just made available a new firmware to increase performance, in both sequential random 4K.

Compared to the original firmware, thus we move from 450 to 470 MB / s sequential write, 86 000 to 88 000 IOPS 4K random write and 94 000 to 100 000 IOPS random read 4K. It remains however to 540 MB / s sequential read.

This new Plextor M5 Pro Series firmware will recover after installing the update tool available on the online portal Plextor.
