Notice to nostalgic, Sony has decided to completely withdraw from the market the magnetic tape cassette. Following the logic of abandonment of this technology, Those are cassette tapes which will extinguish their distribution in 2013. With the demise of the Walkman brand on the media cassette, Sony did not really put a definitive end to the use of magnetic tape, the claw is usually exported to digital media such as MP3 players, first mobile smartphones.

So the last resistant, models TCM-400, TCM-410 and TCM-450 will no longer be distributed by Sony early next year, not enough to sign the death warrant of support.
