The iTV (so named before the hour) in 2013 and could get a second wind to Cupertino if one believes a survey. For several years, Apple would develop prototypes HDTV. But recently, the company led by Tim Cook intensify developments. Several prototypes are currently being tested and in partnership with Foxconn Sharp one hand and on the other hand. The Japanese company is indeed approached to provide slabs iTV. The project would therefore no longer in its infancy with a test phase which has intensified. According to a note from Morgan Stanely advance that the results of a survey of 1,568 Americans, iTV could achieve even greater success than the iPhone or iPad. Thus, among those surveyed, 47% said they were "extremely" or "very" interested in purchasing a iTV against 23% for the purchase of an iPhone and 21% for the iPad. Finally, more than one in 10 people surveyed (11% exactly) expressed extremely interested. Just the United States, a stamped HDTV Apple could sell 13 million units.
In recent years, Apple has filed a number of patents relating to the use of voice command for an HDTV and 3D displays. Finally, when asked about a possible iTV by NBC, Tim Cook has remained rather terse: "It is a very important area of interest. I can not say more."
