Activision released of viewing a gameplay trailer of the future Walking Dead: Survival Instincts, a new adaptation of the famous comic book filled with zombies, but as a shooter first-person mixed approach survival.
License Walking Dead continues to grow, since the success of comics. In terms of video game adaptation, studio Telltale Games has recently developed a point & click divided into five episode, describing a prequel to the original story, a result quite effective. In parallel, the developer Terminal Reality on board his own adaptation, published by Activision. It will be a FPS called The Walking Dead: Survival Instincts will take place also in the upstream scenario comics, and will feature two brothers: Deryl and Merle Dixon. These will obviously try to survive the many undead swarm around the world.
The editor we propose to watch a new video game that shows some gameplay that show particular climate survival, recalling some of same style games such as Dead Island or Zombie U. It will therefore often use ingenuity to evade the undead and especially avoid alerting the horde. Remains to be seen if the final result will be paced and immersive enough to satisfy us. Walking Dead will be released in 2013 on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, no further details at this time.
