Galaxy Naos and Teos, two future Android smart phones from Samsung
These two elegant terminals are not swift but frankly they should still be turning in Android 2.1.
No availability date or even for any price are now provided on the availability of two new smartphones, the Galaxy Naos and Galaxy Teos. Sustained activity in Korean Samsung is expanding its Galaxy in a remarkable pace. No sooner have we tested the Galaxy S, presented here in video, the manufacturer announced two new handsets running Android 2.1, aka Lightning.
Two very similar references
The Naos and Teos employ a very similar basis. They have the same size, same processor running at 667MHz, the same wireless standard (Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n and Bluetooth), battery 1500 mAh, A-GPS module and the same screen 8 2 inches diagonally. A capacitive multi-screen displaying a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels (65,000 colors). Tiny little better for Teos which offers 90 MB of internal memory 84 MB cons for Naos. Two ridiculous storage capacity will limit the installation of applications through the Android Market. A Micro SD Card 1GB is delivered, but it can be used to install applications. Another small difference, Samsung shows a radiation level below the Teos with a SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) 0.575 W / kg against 0.635 W / kg for the Naos. Both of them have an interesting compatibility with H.264 multimedia files, MP3, MPEG-4 WMV, DivX, XviD, AAC, JPEG, etc..
Two similar devices and conventional enough, with a final version because Naos pack will be available in Orange. The overlay operator is therefore required with mobile services such as Orange Search. Until we know more, it is hoped that these two devices will be offered at aggressive prices because they are a fairly basic models.
