After the GO Live 1005, TomTom announced the successor models XL and XL IQ Routes Live GPS midrange brand. This segment is now represented by the series Via TomTom 110 and 120. We were able to manipulate the products briefly at the booth of the manufacturer at the IFA in Berlin. The opportunity to enjoy including the new design, very fine (exact dimensions are however not reported).
An ingenious system of fixing ... or not!
Like the TomTom Start 2, the mounting system is integrated into the rear of the product. Given the size of these devices, we question the relevance of such a system we can remove and double - or almost - the thickness of GPS. Moreover, it can not be changed, at least easily, in case of breakage or malfunction of the suction cup. Recognize, however, a clever side to this rotating system. Indeed, it can bind both to the windshield at the dashboard, which is very convenient for cars with the windshield or too distant sink. Indeed, the display can rotate 180 degrees depending on the chosen installation.
