Zotac ZBox Blu-ray HD-ID34

Zotac unveils its new mini-PC with Blu-ray, The ZBOX Blu-ray HD Zotac shows high performance, unique design and extremely compact dimensions.

The manufacturer has Zotac unveil its latest creation: the Blu-ray HD ZBOX. The mini-living room PC with an integrated Blu-ray is mainly intended for multimedia use.

A mini format to hide behind a monitor or TV
This PC boasts an attractive design and - above all - size minimized. The housing may be attached to the back of a monitor or a flat TV (Vesa fixings) or, more simply, be placed on a table or desk in a shop for example, where the look will promote integration. Despite its small size, the Blu-ray HD ZBOX yet incorporates a robust configuration, which is a good thing because its scalability is virtually nil.

At the cutting edge despite its small size
Thus, the chassis uses the latest technology and most recent date components: Intel Atom D525 (double heart), for power and low power consumption, Nvidia graphics chip Ion 2 for graphics and video performance needed to broadcast content 1080p HD video from compressed files or Blu-ray.
Not to mention 2 GB of DDR2 memory, a hard disk Sata-2, a combo drive Blu-ray/DVD-RW and cohort interfaces (Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 802.11 b, g, n, USB 2.0, 3.0 and eSATA). There is also a memory card reader, HD 7.1 audio output and DVI / HDMI.

It is versatile but prefers the world of multimedia
From this point of view, the ZBOX Blu-ray HD Zotac is quite comprehensive and does not pose a problem to be connected, like a link to a home cinema chain. It should be noted that only mini-PC will be available in two versions.
One equipped with a hard disk Sata-2 (5400 rpm) 2.5-inch, 250 GB and 2 GB of DDR2/800, is sold under the reference ZBOX Blu-ray HD-ID34. The other, the ZBOX Blu-ray HD-ID33 is sold naked without memory or hard disk.

Common to both versions: they are sold without an operating system, but with the software suite from Cyberlink Power DVD 9. They will be available soon October price of 640 USD for the version equipped and 500 USD for the version naked 24-month warranty included.
