Panasonic has taken advantage of the CEATEC in Japan to present its new Lumix Phone, the first camera phone equipped with the technology Lumix.
The Lumix Phone, presented by Panasonic, measuring 116 x 52 x 17.7 mm with a total weight of 146 grams. We are facing a real smartphone running a Linux distribution, with a 3.3 inch VGA screen and a sliding keyboard. It also loads pretty nice connectivity consisting of WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G and DLNA compatibility.
A processor VenusEngine
The Lumix Phone occurs if a line under the NPC. Worthy representative of the Lumix range, the device with a processor and a house VenusEngine of 13.2-megapixel CMOS sensor with which this phone will not only take pictures in a maximum resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels but also videos in high definition.
A slot microSD / SDHC
The Lumix Phone to share your images remotely via WiFi networks and 3G. You can then send to your friends by email or post them directly on your blogs or on your favorite social networks. Otherwise this phone is equipped with a memory card slot that lets you store your pictures on microSD or microSDHC cards.
An output in 2011
Panasonic has confirmed as yet neither the price nor the release date in Europe of its new aircraft. We simply know that the Japanese brand will launch its Lumix Phone in Japan in 2011 and the decline in several colors (black, pink, blue, gold).
