Acer E140 beTouch, a smartphone running Android Froyo EUR 200
For a price which remains moderate, Acer's smartphone features a full equipment and the latest version of Android.
After an eventful year marked by the release of many high-end smartphones (Stream Liquid Metal) as entry level (E110 and E130 beTouch), Acer 2010 closes with a final announcement: next marketing beTouch E140. Despite its extremely affordable price - below $ 265 - this new beTouch boasts a complete equipment and especially the latest version of Android, Froyo 2.2. A feature supposed to confer a certain velocity and a good response, despite its processor at 600 MHz.
Autonomy of 20 days standby
Comes with a 2GB microSD card, the E140 has a full multimedia device - 3.2-megapixel camera, video capture and FM radio - and takes advantage of GPS navigation (with voice guidance) from Google. It also loads a set of preinstalled applications like Spinlets (streaming music) or nemoPlayer (for media playback) as well as Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. Its range would be five hours of talk time on 3G and twenty days of standby.
The beTouch Acer E140 will be available in January 2011 in glossy black or white pearl at a price of 263 dollars. We also find from one euro to NRJ mobile, subject to a subscription.
