CES 2011 The expertise of Sony and Google in the Xperia Arc, The new smartphone from Sony Ericsson Aboard Android 2.3 and tech borrowed cameras and Sony TVs.
With a more active partnership than ever with the teams at Google, Sony Ericsson took advantage of CES to announce its first smartphone running Android 2.3. Called Arc, the device features an interface Timescape house and that made the success of the latest Xperia, but also the expertise of its parent Sony and this on two points. The large 4.2 inch screen multipoint (10.7 cm diagonal) adopts the technology associated with the Reality Display Mobile Bravia engine for image correction. As for the camera of 8.1 megapixels, it incorporates a mobile version of Sony Exmor sensor R for a given picture quality even in low light conditions.
Ultrafine, but the power under the hood
The Arc is also characterized in terms of design and fineness, without a screen edge inspired Bravia and a thickness that falls to 8.7 mm in its thinnest part. Equipped with a powerful Qualcomm processor at 1 GHz, this smartphone is capable of filming in HD 720p at 30 frames per second and it comes with a MicroSD card 8 GB
The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc should be available in the first quarter of 2011 in midnight blue and silver versions. Its price has not been sent.
