Eee PC 1015PW : a netbook that comes in pink, purple or gold to allure
Asus released a netbook special Valentine's Day. Cute with its hood raised, the 1015PW offers a standard configuration.
No new Asus Eee PC in sight! It was a few months that the Taiwanese manufacturer we had not announced the arrival of a small laptop with 10.1-inch matte screen (1024 x 600 pixels). The Eee PC does not stand out from its competitors with its configuration, but rather by its looks.

Valentine's Day requires, Asus opted for glamorous enough colors on the entire chassis, such as purple metallic, pale pink and gold (bronze mirror). Other small cosmetic novelty on this whole rounded chassis (chassis seashell Asus), the hood is fully in relief as could be that of the Eee PC Karim Rashid (KR 1008P). It changes a little bit of shiny smooth plastic, and it's not worse. Another chance to please Madame?
Configuration view and review
It appears that the netbook market does not know of revolution at the beginning of the year. In the absence of new processor, there is typically an Intel Atom N550 (dual heart clocked at 1.5 GHz), 1 GB of DDR3 memory (expandable to 2), part of Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3150 (included in the processor) and a 250 GB hard drive with Windows All 7 Starter Edition. Asus has also included the operating system lightweight Express Gate to surf, read e-mails or listening to music in under 15 seconds. Power is supplied by a battery 6 cells, supported by the software Asus Super Hybrid Engine. Autonomy announced is 10 hours, but on the table rather half in normal use ...
Online Storage
To increase the storage capacity of the Eee PC, Asus offers 500 GB on Asus WebStorage, a hosting service data online free for the first year of use. Regarding the connectivity, there is a 10/100 Ethernet port, 3 USB ports, a VGA output but also Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0 n.
The price of this nice little PC is $ 349 and availability is imminent.
