Updated:

At the IFA trade fair held in September 2010 in Berlin, we presented in video, a pre-release tablet Hannspree. At the time, not even the product model was defined. it is only today that this 10.1-inch tablet, the operator platform Nvidia Tegra 2 is available for pre-order from grosbill.com and Auchan. com under reference Hannspree Hannspad SN10T1.
A few days before the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Hannspree is in the light of day - just like HP did recently with its TouchPad - a product that we expected more. We will publish a full test of this tablet in the coming days.

Article 2 September 2010:

On the occasion of the IFA 2010, Hannspree has allowed us to lay hands on its 10.1-inch touchpad, which should be available in November 2010 to $ 399. The version we reviewed was not final and did not have a name yet.

Its screen displays a definition of 1024 x 600 pixels, powered by a Nvidia Tegra platform 2 (including a double heart A9 ARM processor 1 GHz).

All running on version 2.2 of Android (called Froyo) and offers 16 GB of internal storage. What HD video playback, even in Flash. Can not comment on the quality of the screen, but the prototype on which we could put our fingers gave us good first impressions.

Another advantage is its relatively compact size. Its weight, less than 800 grams, does not seem excessive to us once the shelf grip. This is due to the materials used for the frame: plastic, black and silver finish enjoying a very correct for a prototype. The proposed connection is quite varied (miniUSB, mini HDMI 1.3a, microSD reader, 3.5 mm jack), but does not Hannspree 3G standard, limited to Wi-Fi wireless. The onboard battery should provide a range of eight hours of HD video playback.

Private market as the other tablets Android Google has no plans to open its shelves to Market before version 3.0 of its OS (with the Google Store), Hannspree has adapted the most commonly used applications to the device (Maps, Skype, YouTube, etc.).. The manufacturer does not hide it, he expects the 3.0 version of Android that their product can realize its full potential.

Hannspree told us that a version incorporating a webcam is readily available, by late 2010 or early 2011.
