HTC has unveiled two smartphones dedicated to Facebook during MWC 2011, the Salsa that we presented yesterday and Chacha which differs by the presence of a full QWERTY keyboard instead of the touch screen of Salsa.

This may seem exaggerated to some want to be permanently connected to Facebook, but some will find this option attractive. It is this population that has two HTC smartphones rather entry-level HTC Salsa and Chacha, while both feature a dedicated button to access Facebook and manage their mobile account with the utmost simplicity and speed. And sharing photos or videos or cats are available on the new HTC smartphones at the touch of the button. Without forgetting the other Facebook applications available to meet individual needs.
A full QWERTY keyboard
HTC smartphones Salsa and Chacha have a sheet substantially similar and only differ in terms of their real size. Where the HTC Salsa incorporates a capacitive touch screen of 3.4 inches, the HTC Chacha in dimensions of 11.4 x 6.4 x 1 inches and weighs 120 grams features a non-touch screen of 2.6 inches with a resolution of 480 x 320 pixels at which users discover a HTC Sense magazine to optimize the integration of Facebook. On the screen, there is a full QWERTY keyboard welcome for those who like to write long emails or chat for hours.
All networks essential
For the rest, the equipment HTC Chacha include a processor running at 600 GHz and the Gingerbread Android OS 2.3 which provides access to the many applications available on Android Market. HTC Chacha side memory offers 512 MB of RAM and 512 MB ROM and internal memory is expandable with microSD cards. This is HTC compatible with 3G +, with Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 and with GPS. Its connection includes a 3.5 mm audio jack and a data transfer micro-USB jack. So nothing extraordinary, but quite sufficient for most users.
Output in the second quarter, price unknown
Multimedia equipment HTC Chacha include a digital camera 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash and a media player compatible with audio formats and the most popular video. Chacha is the HTC as the HTC Salsa expected in the second quarter 2011 to a still unknown price.
