Lexus claims that this is the most advanced system of the automotive industry. It combines a millimetric radar, a stereo camera and infrared illuminators. Whether a pedestrian, a car or any other obstacle, the system A-PCS will alert the driver so he can take the appropriate decision. In case of no response, and as long as the speed difference is not more than 40 km / h, the car will brake up alone. Precrash The alert is also coupled with a system for monitoring driver vigilance (head position, opening the eyelids). It does however help and this is the driver to take into account the traffic well as weather conditions.
