Intel SSD Details On Upcoming Professional Models

Pro 2500 Series models
Internal documents leaked on the Web allow to know more about upcoming SSD devices for professionals that Intel prepares.

First there was the Pro 2500 Series models will be available in the format M.2 (8, 6 or 4.2 x 2.2 inches) with capacity of 180, 240 or 360 GB, but the 2.5-inch size with capacity of 80, 180, 240 and 480 GB. Flows can reach 490 MB / s sequential write, 540 MB / s sequential read, the 52,000 IOPS 4K random write IOPS and 42,000 4K random read.

Followed patterns DC Pro 3500 Series and DC Pro 3700 Series which will be proposed to the PCI-Express or 2.5 inches. The first will provide a capacity between 250 GB and 2 TB and flows of up to 2800 MB / s in sequential and 450,000 IOPS 4K random. The second offer between 200 GB and 2 TB with peaks at 2800 MB / s in sequential and 450,000 IOPS 4K random.
