Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Kids is a variation of the 7-inch tablet brand. I rarely talk tablets for children here, Whereas that this is often too low tablets range revamped and sold at an excessive price compared to the quality offered. The idea that children do not need a powerful tablet is widespread, but false: the uses children (games, educational applications, animated books, etc ...) does indeed require shelves offering a minimum performance for that experience, particularly touchscreen, is comfortable. I had spoken long time in another post: (Which tablet for kids?)

That need for a quality tablet for children seems to have been understood by Samsung which decidedly loupe no opportunity to enter a new market. the announcement of a Galaxy Tab 3 suitable for children confirms and extends to all countries, then we could see come on the market a very powerful 7-inch tablet and well suited for children.
The Galaxy Tab 3 Kids offers the same specifications as the version "for Adults", namely a tablet of 300 grams with a 7-inch screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, Android version 4.1 (Jelly Bean) a dual-core 1.2GHz processor with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard memory, a micro-SD slot for adding up to 32GB of memory, and two image sensors (3.2 and 1.3 megapixels).
That's what ensure performance to meet the needs of children. But the Galaxy Tab 3 Kids is specially adapted to children through a hull gum, with content for children already installed, and of course a parental control system to reassure parents and to ensure safe use.
The tablet may find its market with demanding users yet tend to turn to devices like the iPad (as family tablet) The Nexus 7 (and its limited user profiles) Kobo Arc or the Kindle Fire. The latter is equipped with the system Freetime parental control and seeks to position itself, among others with an offer of unlimited with content for children as the ideal tablet access, what was also seen in some ads for the brand.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Kids is it the precursor of what could happen also with other actors? In the future if the market tablets for children continues to grow, Apple, Amazon, Google or Kobo could quite decide to follow the same path, and propose a variation of their entry-level models for children, or perhaps their "old" tablets to children when a new range out ...
