Samsung will use the 2014 edition of the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas (January 7-10) to unveil its new range of televisions but the Korean manufacturer already entices us for a few days with indiscretions. The most important novelty comes from the inclusion of an accelerometer that interprets the movements of the remote in the manner of the Wiimote, the Wii remote. Convenient to move from one item to another in the menus for example.
The Smart Control 2014 Samsung is also distinguished first by its arched design, supposed to provide a better grip. As with the previous version, you can obviously find the type of laptop touchpad for drawing commands (the number of the desired channel for example). It loses its rectangular shape in favor of a smaller oval 80% but remains framed by four directional buttons. It can also recognize symbols shortcuts to certain functions.
Of course, this new remote control retains its microphone to control voice commands. In total, 26 ships against 23 buttons for the previous generation.
