Sigmatek EBKT-102: a multimedia electronic book reader
Sigmatek he unveiled recently a new tablet, Sigmatek EBKT-102. The unit is located on the border of the electronic book and multimedia player.
Unveiled at the IFA in Berlin, the new tablet Sigmatek EBKT-102 is expected for the holiday season. With its slim design (1.3 cm), modern and colorful, and multiple functions, it might make some happy in Christmas Eve!

Sigmatek EBKT-102 comes in the form of an electronic book reader thin and elongated format, with a beautiful color TFT screen 7-inch format 16 / 9 (18 centimeters diagonal) touch not returning a definition 800 x 480 pixels. The whole is accompanied by a few control buttons at the bottom of the model. The unit does not have the e-ink technology (it does so "only" black and white without any shades of gray) but can choose from different font sizes. Function DRM (Digital Rights Management) is incorporated and the model handles text formats most common (PDF, TXT, EPUB ...) including those protected by copyright.

But Sigmatek EBKT-102 does not stop there since he also read the most common audio formats and color-screen oblige photos (JPEG, BMP, GIF) and video in 1080p resolution (with Speakers 2 x 0.5W integrated). He may admit the MKV. In short, the EBKT-102 acts as a perfect portable media player. The model has the added bonus of a USB port, a headphone mini-jack 3.5 mm and 4GB of internal flash memory, expandable via SD / SDHC (up to 32GB). The autonomy model is announced 10 hours in playback mode, video mode 8h and 40h in audio mode.
