Intel has benefited from the Consumer Electronics Show to introduce a camera module 2D/3D detection depth and a personal assistant including natural language. These technologies will be incorporated into tablets, ultrabooks, laptop PCs and all-in-one.

First there was a camera module Full HD 2D/3D capable of detecting the depth of field. It captures the movement of the fingers and face to allow gestural interaction, to augmented reality or scanning a 3D object. This camera will be integrated into ultrabooks, laptops and PC all-in-one Acer, Asus, Dell, Fujitsu, HP, Lenovo and NEC that emerge in the second half of the year.
Second product of RealSense family Personal Assistant Dragon Wizard based on voice recognition technology from Nuance. «The user can literally « tell »his unit to play music, to get her answers, to connect with friends or find content, using a natural tone and language.» explains the Intel statement. The Dragon Wizard will include built-in Lenovo tablet.
