In addition to its new 95 Series subwoofers super woofer, MTX presented as well at CES 2014, a new line of amps XThunder! These amps were designed for those looking for power and performance! This XThunder range includes 4 models of amplifiers. Multichannel operate in Class A / B, while mono blocks use Class D technology.
These amplifiers feature a modern and simple design. Connections and settings are hidden in a recess on the side for a more aesthetically pleasing installation. All amps use the same chassis, which greatly facilitates the integration into a system with several power blocks.
For mono blocks, MTX offers two models: XThunder 1500.1 (1500 Watts RMS into 1 Ohm) and XThunder 1200.1 (1200 Watts RMS into 1 Ohm). For multichannel, there is a choice between a 4 channel 4x125 Watts RMS into 2 Ohms (XThunder 125.4) and 5 channels 4x100 +1 x400 Watts RMS into 2 Ohms (XThunder 800.5). At the moment, MTX has not yet announced the price, and marketing (or not) on the European market!
